CSC Respond to Compact CommissionThe Compact needs to do much more if it is to be relevent for community groups says CSC Director Matthew Scott. Matthew has sent a response to the Compact Team proposing a review of Compacts codes and putting forward the CSC as playing an active role in this review process. The Compact is the agreement between government and the voluntary and community sector to improve their relationship for mutual advantage and communtiy gain. Government and the voluntary and community sector are fullt committed to the Comapct and its codes, based on an initial agreement in 1998, and annual reviews of this commitment at Compact Annual Meetings.
