Three New Right need community infrastructure to underpin them

Petition power is written into recent government thinking on empowerment- here is statement of intent looking at areas it will cover.

We await the 'detail' with interest in the new Empowerment White Paper expected this summer.  A key test will be to what extent petitions are able to

get past the traditional bureaucratic pitfalls and what practical support is on hand locally for petitioners who find their petition becomes a longer journey of campaigning.
